Suze Cook

Founder, Fledgling Work

Suze has spent over two decades building marketing functions from the ground up, across agencies, start-ups and global names like Microsoft and UKTV. At Microsoft she led consumer marketing for the Windows 7 launch, shaping the campaign strategy that drove one of the biggest product launches in the company's history, and ran online services marketing across Windows Live, Messenger and Hotmail, managing brand positioning and acquisition for some of the most-used consumer products of the era. She went on to take Head of Marketing roles at UKTV's Dave channel and then 118 118, building and leading marketing teams responsible for brand, campaigns and consumer growth.

Lucy Morcombe

Director, Fledgling Work

Lucy works on the technical side of digital projects, from web builds to platform decisions to the problem-solving that only comes up once something's live. With a Master's degree in Web Development, she guides Fledglings through the technical side of modern marketing, from web builds to digital strategy, thinking in both the big picture and the fine detail so she can spot what's actually going wrong, not just what looks wrong. There's rarely a technical problem she's not been able to fix.

Adam Ward

Consultant & Social Strategist

Adam brings with him 15 years of experience working across agencies, start-ups and global brands including easyJet, Uniqlo, BMW, Sony and Danone. He's built and led strategic, client services and social and digital functions from the ground up, most recently as Business Director at The Social Shepherd, where he took the agency from 22 people and £500k revenue to over 65 people and £4m. Alongside that, he's an entrepreneur in his own right, having built and sold out his own direct-to-consumer wine brand within three months and founded ABL Consultancy to help founder-led businesses fix what's broken so they can achieve their ambition.
